The International Programs Office (IPO) is a key resource for international students at Occidental! IPO provides support for international students, including assistance with visa documentation, programming, special events, and more.
IPO will be in regular contact with you over the summer to provide special instructions regarding International Student Orientation and arrival dates.
Student Visa Information
Student visa paperwork will be processed on a rolling basis. You will receive an email from admission@oxy.edu with instructions on how to request your I-20; you are required to fill out a short form and send some supporting documents. Please submit your documents in a timely manner so you have plenty of time to schedule your visa interview. If you have questions about the visa process, please email intladm@oxy.edu.
International Student Orientation
International Student Orientation is open to all students on a student visa as well as US citizens and permanent residents who attended high school abroad. The orientation will take place in August before school starts and IPO will invite eligible students via email when it’s time to register.
