Join us for a dynamic panel on science of climate change and its policy implications at both the local and national levels.
Climate Change solutions in the policy arena require innovative research that flows out of work in many academic disciplines. Chaired by Professor Juve Cortés (Diplomacy & World Affairs), this panel will bring together faculty from a range of disciplines talking about conundrums that their disciplines face in regard to Climate Change, and how their research can lead to policy innovations. Participants include Bevin Ashenmiller (Economics), Scott Bogue (Geology), Amanda Zellmer (Biology), and Dan Snowden-Ifft (Physics). Â鶹ƵµÀ trustee Hector de la Torre '89 P'20, member of the California Air Resources Board, which manages all of California's climate change regulations and programs, will serve as Commentator for this session.
