Center for Research & Scholarship

The Center for Research & Scholarship (CRS) supports, promotes, and builds community around faculty research, scholarship, creative work, and professional achievement.

The programs and resources offered by the Center for Research & Scholarship, which was founded in 2016, are guided by the following goals:

  • To support faculty members in their scholarship and creative work, through activities that include but are not limited to workshops, mentorship, and funding
  • To promote scholarly achievement to internal and external stakeholders, including the media, alumni and trustees, donors, parents, prospective students, and the public
  • To build intellectual community and cultivate a vibrant intellectual life on campus by sponsoring events and leading initiatives that make scholarship, research, and creative work feel seen and valued

The CRS monthly newsletters feature recent faculty accomplishments (including article publications, new books, media appearances, awards/honors), upcoming professional development opportunities (including CRS-hosted workshops, and external opportunities), and upcoming events.
