2024 Edgerton Summer Internships
The Department of Theater and Performance Studies pleased to announce that, through the generosity of the Edgerton Foundation, funding is available to support four 2024 full summer internships (full-time for aproximately 10-weeks.)
Internships with a profesional THEATER company may be anywhere in the United States. Underfunded or unpaid internships will receive priority for consideration as will applications for declared TPS majors or minors.

In 2000, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors established the , which provides internships for nonprofit performing, presenting, film, media, literary, municipal arts, social justice and social service nonprofit organizations as a companion program to the , which provides internships to museums and visual arts organizations. The purpose of the County’s program is to provide undergraduate students with meaningful on-the-job training and experience working in nonprofit arts organizations.
Center Theatre Group:
Center Theatre Group offers internships for college undergraduate and graduate students throughout the year. Our interns get hands-on experience at departments across the company, study and learn alongside professionals, and participate in career development programs.

There are many ways to enhance your training as a Theater student at Â鶹ƵµÀ, including the Undergraduate Summer Research and Study Abroad. You can also deepen your experience and make connections for your post-Â鶹ƵµÀcareer through summer internships. You may elect to enroll in INT100 (0-units) or INT200 (2-units and a nominal enrollment fee) while undertaking an internship but this is not required. After your first year, you may consider taking on an internship during the fall or spring. You can find internships by contacting the Hameetman Career Center.
