How do you find appropriate sources for your research?
As you are conducting research for your comprehensive project (or conducting research for a RELS course), you will need to identify appropriate sources. To learn about various kinds of sources, as well as how to locate them, check out the handout below.
We recommend you search the Religious Studies database, ATLA and the History database, Historical Abstracts. We also recommend databases that index a range of fields, such as ProQuest and JSTOR. You can find all of these on Oxy’s database page below.
