April was born and raised in Los Angeles. She is a proud alum of Mount Saint Mary's University with a degree in Healthcare Policy and Spanish. April then went on to complete her Master's in Public Health at the University of California, Irvine. April began her professional career at her Alma mater MSMU where she served as a Resident Director for the past two years!
